Loyalty & conquest

How to take villages from other players — and how to keep your own.

Every village has a loyalty value, starting at 100. Raids move resources; conquest moves loyalty. Each successful attack in which a Warlord (your noble unit) survives drops the target's loyalty by 18–32. When loyalty hits 0 or below, the village changes owner — and its loyalty resets to 30 under the new ruler.

Loyalty regenerates

Loyalty climbs back at +1 per hour, multiplied by the world speed. That makes conquest a tempo game: space your Warlord hits too far apart and the target heals faster than you can wear it down.

The Academy and your Warlords

  • The Academy requires Headquarters 20 and Market 10, and caps at level 3.
  • Each Academy level lets you field one more Warlord at a time (1 per level, max 3).
  • Warlords are slow and enormously expensive — losing one sets your campaign back by days.

A typical capture takes about 4 successful hits. Since a fresh conquest sits at only 30 loyalty, expect rivals to try snatching it — a single follow-up Warlord hit can flip it again. Garrison a new conquest immediately.

Never send a Warlord alone or with a token escort. Wrap it in a real army: the Warlord only drops loyalty if it survives the battle, and the loss formula punishes narrow wins. Clear the defense first — or win big — before the noble walks in.
